Job Description

The HR Ops Program Manager is responsible for project and program management of prioritized HR Portfolio initiatives. The successful candidate will bring a mix of both project and program management expertise, and has successfully delivered large, complex enterprise projects and programs. The HR Operations Program Manager will have the discipline and rigor to create detailed project plans in support of multi-faceted projects, while also being able to see and manage to the 'big picture' and provide executive summaries to key stakeholders and business sponsors.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates discussions with COEs and business areas to define and charter potential priorities for the HR Portfolio.
  • Establishes and manages a core and extended team, including resources from COEs, technology/solutions, change management, service delivery, regional/divisional HR, and suppliers (where applicable).
  • Produces all relevant program management deliverables such as program charter, objectives and outcomes, key milestones, project dashboards, risk logs, etc.
  • Creates and maintains detailed project plan, where applicable.
  • Participates/facilitates benchmarking efforts to understand best practices and potential solutions, as well as seeking to understand voice of internal customer via focus groups and/or crowd-sourcing.
  • Leads workstream and team meetings to facilitate decision making, manage key milestones and deliverables, identify and resolve risks/issues, and connect across workstream areas.
  • Develops and manages program operating costs, requests budget allocation and reallocations, and ensures program is within budget.
  • Provides leadership in the face of uncertainty, rapid change, and aggressive deadlines.
  • Manages key stakeholders and project sponsors, providing regular executive updates on progress, risks, program decisions to facilitate and influence quick resolution and leadership alignment.
  • Defines standards and success metrics and sustainability plans for programs to ensure post-launch success.


Education:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree


Required:
  • 10+ years of experience in an HR Operations, HR Business Partner, HR CoE or related roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project and program management methodology including project lifecycles, resource management, risk mitigation, governance, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong Program/Project Management experience with emphasis on project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience leading a team and strong facilitation skills.
  • Strong consulting and influencing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, global organization.
  • Ability to partner with leaders to anticipate and mitigate implementation risks.
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project.


Preferred:
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Change Management experience
  • Experience with cloud-based HR technology solutions
  • PMP certification or equivalent
