The Single Digits HR Team is looking for a talented HR Manager to join our team!  Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the HR Manager will assume responsibility for recruitment, retention and employee relations.  To be successful in this role, you need strong communication skills, the ability to advise and recommend solutions while managing multiple priorities.



  • Investigates and advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
  • Oversees the performance management and improvement processes
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors
  • Maintains the accuracy of the HR data in HRIS
  • Assist with preparing, updating and recommending company policies and procedures
  • Act as an HR advisor to employees and managers in the areas of performance management, engagement and communication
  • Resolve routine HR questions and escalate as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of discretion on all matters
  • Create and manipulate reports for management
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed
  • Oversee the full life cycle of talent acquisition, including the management of our Talent Acquisition Partner
  • Create and train managers and employees on interviewing skills
  • Create and manage diversity programs
  • Establish and report recruitment metrics
  • Maintain work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Ensures legal HR compliance – federal and state requirements, records maintenance, EEO, audits, ACA


  • Ability to work ethically and with integrity, following the company’s policies and procedures and upholding its values
  • 7+ years of experience in progressively responsible HR roles
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of general HR services and recruiting
  • Must be friendly and outgoing with customer service acumen
  • Enjoyment of a fast-paced, dynamic, challenging and team-oriented work environment
  • Ambition, proactiveness and self-motivation
  • Good project management skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must maintain confidentiality and be a customer-focused professional, inspiring the trust of others
  • Experience working with HRIS and ATS systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication required
  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) or equivalent from a four-year College or University required or equivalent combination of education and experience
